Immediately prior to founding the fund, Edward was a partner for SGI Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity fund focused on growth equity investments with close to 2 Billion invested to date, Edward played a crucial role as the Managing Director and Head of the Capital Markets practice group at The Spectrum Solutions Group. His practice encompasses capital markets advisory, M&A advisory, strategy consulting, and sustainability consulting. Throughout Edward’s career he has led multiple high value IPO, M&A, and restructuring efforts in USA Asia serving as lead advisor for cross border transactions for large Chinese SOEs and mid sized private equity firms from North America In the field of sustainability, Edward has executed multiple cross border impact investments along with creating multiple ESG frameworks for North American private equity funds He was also the lead consultant to the Ministry of Industry Indonesia for its sustainable financing program and circular economy development and head consultant to a major Southeast Asian city as its lead sustainable development advisor . He has served as a speaker at UNIDO events and is an official G20 knowledge partner to the Indonesian government . Earlier in Edward’s career, he was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, executive advisor at a top strategy consulting firm, and an attorney at Baker McKenzie . Edward also currently sits on the advisory board for multiple venture capital firms and SPACs.
